How we test proxies

How ProxyBolt tests proxies from inside Iran, how often, and why proxies are removed.

  1. 1

    Why only from Iran?

A proxy reachable from Europe may be useless in Iran, so only results from nodes inside Iran count.

  2. 2

    Limits of this method

We test from a few fixed nodes, not from every user's connection or per operator. A proxy that passes may still be slow on yours; that is what the vote buttons are for.
